Biography of Janel Moloney

Janel Moloney was born on October 3, 1969. She grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles and from a very young age, she dreamed of acting in movies. Until the age of fifteen, she was involved in dance but always expressed her desire to become a serious professional actress. As a child, Moloney often put on performances for her family, mostly from her favorite musical, "Annie," at the time.

Early Roles and Education

Moloney received her first roles in middle school. Her first role was that of Bianca in a school production of Shakespeare's comedy "The Taming of the Shrew." She continued to perform in the school theater until graduation and planned to apply to the world-renowned Juilliard School in New York.
